Welcome to the inspiring world of Alex Metal Works Factory (A.M.W)
AMW was founded in 1987 by Abou Hamda & Emam to establish the industry of cutlery in Egypt. The project started in cooperation with Japanese technology and machines and developed in a very short time producing different models and items covering most of the Egyptian market.
Within two years we expanded new workshop to add the capability to produce our own molds and spare parts. On these solid bases the company grew rapidly to become no. 1 in the production of the cutlery in all of Africa and the Middle East introducing new items, kitchen knives, kitchen tools, trays, and serving dishes.

Only and strictly, best quality raw material, sourced from Europe (France, Germany, Belgium and Spain), South America, Taiwan and Japan are used in manufacturing all our quality products. Our company has an area of 40,000 square meters in Merghem Industrial Area, equipped with advanced machines in addition to 1,000 skilled workers which enable us to manufacture 250,000 pieces per day. A.M.W Factory produces more than 80 models of tableware and flatware. We design and create a wide range from stainless steel dishware (tray plates), kitchen knives, kitchen tools, tableware and flatware that are characterized by quality and durability. We are the only factory in Egypt producing the hardened blade for knives made of special steel. 25% of our production is exported to many countries across the globe.
